About The New England School of Gardening
The New England School of Gardening at Tower Hill Botanic Garden provides an extensive schedule of college level courses with credit available from Worcester State College, ongoing Adult Education Classes & Programs, including workshops, lectures and demonstrations, Symposia, and now, a schedule of Youth gardening programs at The Tower Hill Farm School --all to facilitate the mission of the Worcester County Horticultural Society. Most of the programs occur on-site at the Stoddard Education and Visitor Center, pictured above.

Connecticut College Arboretum and Quackin’ Grass Nursery

Join us for an exciting and educational excursion to Connecticut College Arboretum
and Quackin’ Grass Nursery. We will first visit Connecticut College Arboretum for a private tour of the Caroline Black Garden with an exquisite display of diverse woody plants in a garden setting. After lunch it is off to Quackin’ Grass Nursery nestled in a beautiful, rustic setting replete with historic stone walls for a special tour of its many display gardens. Discover a wonderfully broad spectrum of plants for every garden environment including a vast array of hardy plants, herbaceous and woody. If unusual plants are your passion there are many rare and hard-to-find gems available. Plant purchases are optional. Transportation and box lunch included.
